Caroline Rowland founded independent production company New Moon Television in 1996. Within six days of launch, Caroline received her first brief and within six weeks she had won three global brands as clients. Her first career in the advertising premier league (as an account manager at J Walter Thompson and DMB&B) has strongly influenced New Moon’s strategic approach and its commitment to producing honest, evocative stories that influence hearts and minds. To date, Caroline has produced content in 31 languages across advertising, broadcast and corporate films.
Barnaby’s first experience of production was as a runner on music videos for a string of unforgettable 80s bands including Big Audio Dynamite, Aztec Camera and Goodbye Mr Mackenzie. In 1992 Barnaby was hired by Uden Associates and worked his way from runner to managing the company’s roster of corporate work clients Amerada Hess, Samsung, The Post Office, The Metropolitan Police, Aston Martin and Rolex. In 1999, he was made Company Director. In 2003 Barnaby joined New Moon as Executive Producer where he is in charge of the company’s Corporate and Advertising divisions. While at New Moon Barnaby has worked on an extraordinary number of highly creative award-winning productions including films for Accenture, RBS, Linklaters, RAF, UKTI, LDA, Transport for London, General Motors and the phenomenally successful films for the London 2012 Olympic Bid.

Following a brief stint in grown up television at Thames TV’s popular police drama The Bill, Catherine soon found her natural creative home in kids’ TV and has been regressing ever since. Catherine has been working as script executive/associate producer on the following shows since 2000: Girls in Love (series 1 and 2), CITV’s hit kids’ sitcom My Parents Are Aliens (series 8) and Pocoyo (series 1 and 2, BAFTA Best Pre-school Animation 2006) – all for Granada Kids.
James is New Moon’s youngest producer and he is renowned for finding the most obscure locations and the most unusual (but appropriate) talent for productions. He has had a passion for music from an early age, growing up with friends and family in the industry, and he continues to attend various music events, gigs and concerts all over the world. This passion makes James particularly qualified to help New Moon to source and secure appropriate music for productions. In his five years with the company, he has progressed by working closely with some of New Moon biggest and most valuable corporate and broadcast clients. These include London 2012 (Olympic bid films ‘Inspiration’ & ‘Sport at Heart’), ITV (World Cup promotional advertisements) and Transport for London (Tour de France promotional advertisements). In 2008 he produced three award winning films for New Moon: Vision Beijing’s 2008 Olympic film ‘Belief’, London 2012’s ‘Everyone’s 2012’, and UKTI’s ‘Hit the World Running’ short. He has recently worked with UK Trade & Investment, TFL, EDF Energy and COI, among others, on a number of corporate projects.
Having previously worked as a gardener and a chef, Ben decided to make his CV even more eclectic by doing work experience with New Moon in the summer of 2006. He was quickly offered a Runner position and his boundless energy has already helped to earn him a promotion to Junior Production Assistant. One day, he is going to motorbike around South America.
Brought up on the Isle of Man, Dan undertook a Degree in Photography and Film in Edinburgh before moving to the big city to seek his fortune in the TV and Film industry. He trained in a visual effects house before realising that editing was his true calling. He is New Moon’s Junior Editor and general on-site technical assistant. His deadpan humour is always a welcome addition to the team dynamic.
Tracy has been running, organising and generally keeping things going smoothly in New Moon since May 2007. Outside work, she can usually be found on her way to a gig or the shops.
Having travelled most of Europe over the last four years, Grace went on to get a first in English Literature and Philosophy at Cardiff University. She wants to be a screenwriter and maybe write for Doctor Who one day. She helps to organise meetings, couriers and cabs, but more importantly she is the smiling face that greets the New Moon troops and clients.
